[Closed] move source download URL

HEllo,

please move the sources to an URL without space.
It's silly to use it in URL since it may work to download it with your webbrowser
but not from a script. OR at least only with ugly the '%20'.

Also, it should not be in a different folder, everytime a new version is out.
Instead make a folder you put all sources.
So in my script I only change the version to update.

At last you might consider to zip the sources with the common tar.gz (?)

==> before http://download.tuxfamily.org/ffdiapora … 0.99.4.zip
==> after   http://download.tuxfamily.org/ffdiapora … 9.4.tar.gz

THanks.

The script I was talking about is the Archlinux-AURpkg for ffdiaporama I maintain here: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=52380
which is NOT WORKING at the moment!

Re: [Closed] move source download URL

Hello,
I did not know that somebody had made scripts to package ffDiaporama for ArchLinux.
OK for the space, I am going to change it this evening.

Having said that, best would be that you join our community so that we can synchronize the package productions during releases and we can reference ArchLinux package on our WEB site.

Re: [Closed] move source download URL

The archlinux package will always be here: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=52380

If you want me to build binary packages I can also do that for i686 and x86_64.

Re: [Closed] move source download URL

Now, I have fixed the space for the source ZIP file

If you want to help us, several things are uninteresting :

  • Produce the binary for ArchLinux whom we could add to our page of Download but also give use informations (for which ArchLinux versions) and prerequisite (which repository needed and so on ...) than we can create a section for ArchLinux on our download page.

  • Create a "How to make ffDiaporama for ArchLinux" WEB page. (For sample page, download the Download-Compil_Ubuntu.html page from "WEB/en" subfolder in the svn)
