Cut - Paste causes application to close unexpectedly

Running ffDiaproma 2.1 on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS.

BUG:
Copy/Cut & Paste not working for slides

OBSERVED BEHAVIOUR:
Attempting to cut & paste slides from one position in the filmstrip to another (convenient way of moving blocks of slides together) causes the application to close unexpectedly.  No error message is reported by the GUI, although I have not gone digging for error logs.  This condition effectively means that to rearrange slides one must drag them around in the layout view.  When the layout spans many screens (e.g., 100+ slides) then this becomes very cumbersome.

The projects involved do not have any chapters defines.  The behavior is observed in both 4:3 and 16:9 formats.  Problem occurs regardless of the size of the project.

Interestingly, if the destination file is empty (new project, no slides added yet), it is possible to paste slides that were copied from the previously loaded project.  This result can be obtained regardless of whether the original project and the empty project have the same geometries (i.e., you can open a 16:9 project and copy 6 slides.  Then choose "New Project" using a 4:3 geometry. The new project is created with no slides.  Click the "Project" tab and the "Paste" button will be enabled.  Click paste and the slides from the first project will appear.  Timing will be retained, but some of the shot alignments and cropping may be lost, depending on the shot settings used in the original project. )

CORRECTED BEHAVIOR:

User should be able to copy/cut and paste individual slides as well as blocks of multiple slides within the same project in order to move or duplicate slides from one position to another.

Existing functionality to paste into new "empty" project should be utilized / documented for bulk "rough" conversions between project geometries.
