NTSC Audio Sync

Hello,

I have an interesting audio timing issue.

Using the PAL format (25 fps), audio synchronizes perfectly to the preview in the ffDiaporama application.

However, I must create an NTSC DVD(29.97 fps) and the audio sync gets progressively worse as the slide-show plays.

The slide-show is 50 minutes long so the audio is already way off half way through the show.

I have tried various video formats and video conversion software and have run out of options.

What can I do to make the audio synchronize so the presentation will be accurate?

Thanks in Advance

Re: NTSC Audio Sync

I had a similar issue see my post "Music stops before the end of video".  In fact what you are describing most likely was my problem I just did not realize it was cause by the difference between PAL and NTSC fps.  I had not event considered this as a cause.

The version that was recommended works great as far as timing goes.  You will note that I have a static issue when the volume is decreased in the music but I expect that to be addressed and corrected shortly.
