Ken-Burns effect looks very choppy (?) in exported video

I am trying to make a Ken-Burns effect by editing a slide and copying the image that is shown, then moving it and changing it's size. Animation-wise, I get exactly what I want, but when I export the video, the movement isn't smooth at all. It gets better when I export in Full HD, but in PAL/DVD resolution, the result is not very pretty. It looks not only like the image is jumping several pixels from one video frame to the next, but also it seems like it is moving front and back every other frame. Did anyone experience such a thing before? Any idea how to work around this?

OK, I see, I did it wrong. I must not change size and position of each image, but I have to use the "Correct and Crop" dialog (or whatever it is called in English) for each block as described in http://ffdiaporama.tuxfamily.org/Forum/ … php?id=465 -- then it works fine.
