If the development continues?

Hello!
I would like to use ffdiaporama but unfortunately it has too many errors and strike when rendering of more than 50 images.
Therefore, I would like to know whether ffdiaporama will weiterentwi9ckelt and when the next version comes.
The last one is already more than 2 years old.
