version 2.1 upgrade error on ubuntu 14.04

Hello ffDiaporama Forum,

I have version 1.5 installed on my computer. 
I'm trying to upgrade to that latest stable version but I get this following error:

$ sudo apt-get install ffdiaporama

Do I need to uninstall the 1.5 version before installing the 2.1 version?

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Yes, it is better and also the folder /.ffDiaporama in your home dirrectory ...

After removing the 1.5 version, I was able to install version 2.1.
