opensuse 13.1: Install script doesn't work

Hello,

since the rpm doesn't work on my opensuse 13.1 box (all actual updates included, ffdiaporama-start endig with "(...) libav...") I tried to use the devel-Version with the new install script.
Download was o.k, but then an error occured:

Hello,

the skript is working now, but
during install of the first rpm ffDiaporama_bin>=2.2_devel_2014.0402 is missing, I tried to install without it. But the result was "ffDiaporama-2.2.devel.2014.0402-openSUSE_13.1.noarch.rpm" is installed with size 0 B.

Could you test this :

uninstall all ffdiaporama package with yast
sudo rm -R /opt/ffDiaporama
Restart the script

but then there was a missing dependency: libSDL_mixer-devel

I installed the 64bit version via Yast, and started the skript again (after deleting all old files)
but there was another error:

That's strange, I tested the script yesterday on a 13.1/64 bits system and it was working.

Which ffmpeg have you ?

Could you enter "ffmpeg -version" in a terminal and copy/paste here the result ?

I also had some difficulties with the script, but with the new version from today I could install with the instructions of domledom
uninstall all ffdiaporama package with yast
sudo rm -R /opt/ffDiaporama
Restart the script
and additionaly installing libSDL_mixer-devel via Yast.

thanks for your feedback.
I retested the installation with the new script after uninstalling ffDiaporama and libSDL_mixer-devel. The script now installs perfectly.

But ffDiaporama still doesn't start. ~/.ffDiaporama didn't exist and is not created during the try.

What is really strange is the location where the application stops
Between the "Start ..." message and the "Init home user database..." message, the only thing it should do is to open the SplashScreen

Maybe the problem is there.

Could you test this :

Edit the line 91 of src/ffDiaporama/MainWindow/mainwindow.cpp
Replace : QSplashScreen screen(QPixmap(":/img/splash.png"));
With : QSplashScreen screen;

And compile the application again

This file is libAVresample, not libSWresample.

Are you sure you have libSWresample ?

Hi,

I edited the source as recommended. No change.
I added a log message just before screen.show(). This is the last message before the dump.

I saw that ffDiaporama is now also in the packman repository, I tried it and the last stable version has no problem.

Hi,

sorry, I took the wrong file ...

I just found the reason for the errors.
There was another version of libffmpeg-devel on my system (20010101-1.1 from KDE:KDE3), I switched to 2.2-1.3 from packman and the script works.

ffDiaporama starts with my existing profile and I can open my old files. I will test other functions the next days.
