Title Screen capability
I'm pleased with ffdiaporama which is much better than most commercial programs I have tried. It does seem to lack the ability to have a title screen. What I'm talking about is what you see when you play a commercial movie. A screen comes up with options to play the movie or to start at different chapters or event go to special features.
What I have is a movie of the pictures that I took on an Alaskan vacation all high resolution so displaying on a 48 inch flat screen is not an issue but I also have some videos shot with the still camera. These have much less resolution and are not really view able on a 48 inch flat screen. I can put them into a window and that will solve that issue but what I would like to do is list them as bonus tracks and be-able to select them from a menu.
Can this be done now? If not is anyone interested in developing this capability. I have this with MyDVD a Roxio product but it does not allow you to re-size video and it does not allow you to put in a window where you can play a re-sized video. I know I can do what I want by placing the short video in a window in a slide then making that a avi. After that I should be-able to use MyDVD to bring in all of the different avi videos into one with a menu on the front end.
It would just be a nice feature for someone that is a lot smarter than myself to develop for this great program

Re: Title Screen capability
I think you should look at media player software
Personally I use XBMC that offers these menus you speak (It's a little complicated to configure initially, but once properly adjusted, it is really convenient and even my children are still young use it)

Re: Title Screen capability
That looks like a media player and that is not what I'm looking for at this time although it does sound interesting and I will have to give it a look. What I want to do is put the slide show on a DVD with a menu that lets the viewer select the video they want to play. MyDVD does that and I have had some success with it but would like to know if ffDiaporama can do this or if someone is working on providing that capability. While I'm not just looking for something free because I do own a copy of MyDVD. I think that when a few people get together and develop an open source software items you often get a much better product than the commercial ones.
MyDVD does a lot of what ffDiaporama does but ffDiaporama does it better in my opinion.
Any way does anyone know or have a solution to the making a menu page for DVDs?
