How do I compile development version?
I am a newbie and would like to try the development version for Windows because I'm getting black slides in version 1.6. My pictures are very large (~5-10MB) and I have abou 700 slides. I downloaded the developement file, but have not been able to decompress it. I have tried gzip, 7zip, and a couple other tools with no luck.

Re: How do I compile development version?
Hi
Are you sure you download the right file ?
For Windows there is 2 versions : One for 32 bits systems and one for 64 bits
The 2 files are exe files so you only have to double click from the explorer and then the installation will start
Which system are you using ?
Processeur i5 - 8 Go RAM - Manjaro Linux KDE (64 bits) / Windows 7 (64 bits)

Re: How do I compile development version?
When downloading the files the extension was set to gz. I didn't realize that all I had to do was change the extension from gz to exe. I will be trying the dev versions shortly to see if it fixes the black screens.
Thanks
