video sound track problem (crackle) with involved video sequences

I'm currently using latest version (1.4) on a Ubuntu LTS 12.04.

I've involved videos from the following datatype:

- MOV videos created with a digital camera
- 3GP video files created with a mobile phone

Settings for the compiled video in ffDiaporama:

1080p - 1920x1080 - 25 FPS
DivX/XVid/MPEG-4 - 8000kb/s
AC3 - 48000 Hz - 160 kb/s

Both video formats are shown accurate and correct, so I think my video settings (graphics) are correct.

Involved MP3 audio files are running without problems.

The problem is the video sound track (both in preview and complete compiled video)!!

There is a loud disturbing crackle (crépiter) / scratching (peaks with a frequency appr. 5Hz) for the time period the video sequence is playing (the 3GP file produces more crackle than the MOV file)

Any ideas?

Could you describe your source video files (Format of the mov and 3GP files) ?

I use last version of ffDiaporama with Ubuntu 12.04. I encounter a problem similar to the one described on this post.
The disturb afflict the audio mp3 files that i use as audio background.
I tried various encoding format but the problem still remain.
In precedent version (i used 1.4) i'didn't encounter this disturb.
I don't know if may be a problem, I installed the Medibuntu repo because they are suggested for Kdenlive....

I am using the latest devel edition (16-DEC-2012) on Ubuntu 12.04.
Unfortunately, the problem still exists.
As gangelies said, I didn't encounter the problem using version 1.4.

In my case, the movies are taken from Canon SD1100 IS and its' format is MJPEG.

As suggested from Domledom i tried with the development version. The problem seems to be reduced but not disappeared. I tried with two different encoding format and I noticed that I encounter the problem only with mp3 encoding format, if I use AAC format audio is ok.
Domledom, I send you by mail the "crackled" audio...

On a related issue, .mov files have their sound track out of sync with the picture. The sound occurs before the corresponding picture. There is an improvement in 1.6 beta 7 over 1.5, but the lag is still present: about 0.5 seconds.
