Short experience and problems / mistakes with ffDiaporama 2.1

Hello!

I have found in Windows 7 Ultimate, an alternative to DVDSlideshowgui (0.9.5.4, latest) sought and ffDiaporama.
To my delight, it is also available for Linux (I prepare my substitution.).
I note that it is is a very powerful program but not commercial which is easy to handle set.

Here are some impressions - after a short use.

Seems store intermediate temporal not be provided (no button) nor I found no way to enter global settings. So which one always begins with the same settings.

Text color can indeed but unfortunately choose not to implement, it is always black.

When you insert a text I had the problem that there was a framework - I did not want to.
Instead of a selection point (frame) you had to set a value to 0 (but you must first know).

The text I found unfortunately to break in the text is also no way.
As storage format MKV me was offered - there are also MP4?

And how to integrate and sort music to me is still a mystery, as well as aligning the video duration to the music. for example, gas-automatic stretch of 6 images to 5 minutes at 2 songs.

You have a class program created but at the handling you must still file.

I'm sure I'll get back here more often.

If you are new to ffDiaporama,
First you can strike the [F1] key or help tab (support and help) to have more informations how to use ffDiaporama.

In the File tab you can to chose  global settings you prefer.

When you insert a text I had the problem that there was a framework - I did not want to.

You can chose every property for text block color font style etc.... in the edit text box (double click on it)

As storage format MKV me was offered - there are also MP4?

See in render video avnced you have more choice to render video avi mp4 mpeg etc ...

And how to integrate and sort music to me is still a mystery

For the sound you can insert a play list and made somme adjutements rightclick on the soundtrack and adjust slide duration on  music.
