Install ffD on Lubuntu 13.04 fails

Hello

I try to install ffD following the instructions on http://ffdiaporama.tuxfamily.org/?page_id=178&lang=de

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ffdiaporamateam/stable
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install ffdiaporama
sudo apt-get install ffdiaporama-texturemate

After typing sudo apt-get install ffdiaporama, it fails:

dpkg: Fehler beim Bearbeiten von /var/cache/apt/archives/ffDiaporama_1.3.20130623-0~369~raring1_amd64.deb (--unpack): Versuch, /usr/share/ffDiaporma/locale/ffDiaporama_cz.qm zu überschreiben, welches auch in Paket ffdiaporama-data 15.1 ist

Later on, it is mentioned, that there are "unknown media type in type" all/all, all/allfiles, uri/mms, uri/mmst, uri/mmsu, uri/pnm, uri/rtspt and uri/rtspu.

And it finished with:

E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

Later, I tried with the packge. When I start it, an error message tells me:

Ihr System hat fehlerhafte Abhängigkeiten. Um das Problem zu beheben, geben Sie "sudo apt-get install -f" in ein Terminal ein.

When I do this, it happens exactly the same as when I try to istall it with the terminal.

Is this a bug or something else? Any ideas, how I could install ffD?

Hi

It seems that you have an older version installed. Probably a version from the official repository of ubuntu.

I suggest you begin with the uninstall:

sudo apt-get purge ffdiaporama-data ffdiaporama

Before to install the one from the ppa:

sudo apt-get install ffdiaporama ffdiaporama-texturemate

I had to uninstall one more thing:

sudo apt-get purge ffdiaporama-texturemate ffdiaporama-data ffdiaporama

But then, I could install it as you told me. Now, it works.
