ffDiaporama crops (cuts off upper & lower portion) of JPG images
Both ffDiaporama 1.4 and 1.5 Beta 2 crops images created from JPG photos. The cropping affects both the upper and the bottom part of the photo shown as an ffDiaporama frame. The result is, for example, that a person's head is cut off (partially or wholly) in the frame, although the corresponding person's photo is perfectly correct. All possible changes to the ffDiaporama default settings do not correct this problem. The output file (whether MP4 or AVI) becomes unacceptable. This problem occurs on two different computers (a desktop PC & HP laptop ProBook 4510s) with different screen aspect ratios, each running Windows XP SP3 Pro. Are the ffDiaporama developers aware of this problem or am I the first to report it? (or I have been doing something wrong under ffDiaporama for the last three weeks?) (or the JPG photos taken with 3 different still cameras are bad - in what respect?). I consider myself an advanced computer user and photo/video manipulator/editor. Please, give me a solution to this problem under ffDiaporama or suggest another solution to converting JPG photos to movies. Thank you.
P.S. I can show/email a comparison image of an original JPG photo thumbnail and the corresponding ffDiaporama-captured frame, however I am not sure how to do this.

Re: ffDiaporama crops (cuts off upper & lower portion) of JPG images
Hello wkkos
By default, ffDiaporama cut pictures to their geometry match the geometry of the project.
You can change this in 2 ways:
-Either individually, photo by photo, opening slides and changing the "framing style" picture settings (on the right side of the dialog)
-Once and for all, by changing the framing settings in the Application options dialog
I invite you to read the documentation that explains the concepts of framming and what we can do with it : How ffDiaporama works
