Ok, I got my new laptop.

ffdiaporama-devel and rsc-devel were both updated today.

Is there still a problem?

Hi,

sorry for the late answer. My laptop is dead. I do not read emails so often this week.

The download (04-02) is not an the server anymore. No chance to check the md5sum anymore.
I just can't update to the latest devel-version 04-12 but I expect my new laptop tommorrow, or at least within the next week.

ffmep version in Manjaro is

ffmpeg version 2.2

Thank you for your reply. I am really liking it more and more as I use the Windows version.

Previously, I had used pacman in Manjaro to download the developement version and received the "failed to Install" message.

At your suggestion, I just installed Octopi and tried installing it from Yaourt.

I first received the following:

==> ffdiaporama-devel dependencies:
- qt5-svg (already installed)
- qt5-tools (already installed)
- qt5-imageformats (already installed)
- ffmpeg (already installed)
- exiv2 (already installed)
- shared-mime-info (already installed)
- ffdiaporama-rsc-devel (already installed)

Next I told it to install and received this:

Please note that I did some searching on the internet and found others with the same problem. One thought it was a problem with the version of ffmpeg.

ffDiaporama (stable and devel version) is available for Manjaro using octopi (you should search "ffdiaporama" in the Yaourt group)

For your music issue, we know that there are troubles with some MP3. These troubles are (I hope) solved in the devel version, so I suggest you to test the devel version.

Noisy Pop At Beginning of Audio Track

First of all, ffDiaporama is a great program. I use Proshow Gold in Windows, but I am moving away from Windows to Linux and was looking for something to replace it in Linux. ffDiaporama is really good and, I believe, easier to learn than Proshow. I can't get ffDiaporama to install in Manjaro Arch Linux yet, so I am testing it with the Windows version.

I add picture and video files to ffDiaporama 2.1 and then a music MP3 file to the first picture. After editing the picture files for animation and timing to the music beats, I notice there is a pop just before the music begins to play. The pop is also there after the slide show is rendered.

Any suggestions as to what I am doing wrong?
